Sick Kids

On the 8th of this month I took Kami in to the doctor because she had a cold that she just wasn't kicking. Sure enough she was (as I called her) a little bundle of infection ie. Eye infection, ear, sinus, and respiratory infection. We got her on some med and she seemed to have kicked it. But yesterday she was not acting "right" so I took her in today and she has an ear infection still and so does Allie. The doctor told me that if we didn't treat them both that they would just keep passing it back to each other.

So now I have 2 sick kids and I am not feeling well either. Go figure, that is the life of a mom.

Top 10 things that I have learned about having 2 girls

1. Pink is Okay!

2. You don't ripe the heads off the Barbies.

3. Dance is expensive.

4. That I can do someone hair, just not mine!

5.Playing dress up is fun.

6.I want to pull my hair out.

7. Make up gets everywhere.

8. When it comes to sparkles a little bit goes a long way.

9. They can dance and sing around the house for hours.

and finally...

10. I would change it for anything. Girls Rule! They make the day that much brighter, they can make you smile when all you want to do is cry. As all of you know growing up I was your typical "tomboy" I never wore pink till I had my first girl. So Girls are quite the adjustment for me.

Just now as I was typing this Allie started pulling things off the counter, so as any mom would do I got after her and as I was picking up the mail she decided she wanted to go out and play so of course I let her so she can get all that energy out before bed. As she is walking out the door she turns around and said to me "Mom?" I said "Yes Allie " In which she replies "I love you"

Isn't it just so funny that you can be so upset with your children and the only thing they have to say to you is "I love you" and suddenly you aren't mad?

4 Months

I can't believe that it has already been 4 months since Kamryn was born. She has grown so much in that small amount of time. She is such a Mommies girl. Even thought daddy won't admit it yet. Kamryn is always smiling and talking. Allie just loves to have a little sister to spend time with and we are so grateful to have such a wonderful little angel in our lives!

My little pony

Today we took Allie and Kamryn to the State Fair! Allie got to ride on a pony. She was all smiles. She also got to ride on the giant slide with mom. As she told grandma "We went up and down and up and down" She also got to pet a few cows and sheep. We had so much fun!

Life's a dance

This is Allie and her best friend Bridgette Beardall at their first day of dance. Who would have thought that I would have a little girl that loves to dance and do girly things? I for one didn't think that would happen...but I wouldn't change it for the world!! Allie LOVES dance so much and is having so much fun!

Introducing Kamryn

This is Kamryn!! She was born on May 22 at 8:30 am she was 6lbs 11oz 19.5 inches. She is so beautiful. She is such a blessing to our family. Allie is so excited to be the big sister

Dune Diva

This was our first trip to the Sand Dunes this year. We had so much fun. Allie and Nate were jumping dunes, building sand castles, and riding the 4 wheelers. While I sat back and relaxed (since I was 8 1/2 months pregnant) Grandpa and Grandma (My dad and mom) came down and jumped down the dunes with Allie, Nate and Nate's cousins. My mom's first jump was the best, when she jumped the way she landed made it so she went head over tail down the hill and got a face full of sand!!

Allie's Birthday Party

Allie was so fun on her birthday. She spent the day with mommy and played all day. When Nate came home he had a huge surprise for her, he told her that we were going to get her ears pierced. (Something that I was trying to get him to let her do for months.)
After we got her ears pierced we took her to Chuck E Cheeses (where is you ask Allie she will tell you "be a kid be a kid").
When we finished up there we took her to grandma's house where she got her blow out her candles on her Tinker Bell cake.
